Gwebawi Dolmen District has 43 densely distributed dolmens centering around Gwebawi dolmen which resembles the shape of a cat. This dolmen which was named 'Gwebawo' after the geographical location of the cat was originally go-table shaped dolmen supported by five stones. Situated at 65 meters above sea level, it can be seen at a glance from far away and is a kind of extra-large capstone with the size of 530 meters long, 360 meters wide and 300 cm thick.
This dolmen is a large-size withthe well polished surface unlike other dolmens around it, and might have been served as a altar rather thangrave.
